Angelo Credenti, facing the final months of his glioblastoma, goes into his beloved forest for solace and foregiveness over his wife's death. But the forest has different plans. As does a mysterious woman he meets along his path. Witch, spirit or fiend, Angelo doesn't beleive in ghosts or angels. Unless...? This woman can turn an impossible promise.

Over the years I have learned a lesson to live by:
"Never abondon your passion." You can learn about a person by the books they've read and remember, no matter how much time passes.
THE GOLDFINCH * STATE OF FEAR * THE DA VINCI CODE * PACHINKO * THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO (and its sequels) * THE DOGS OF BABEL * YOUR PERFECT YEAR * THERE, THERE * ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE * THE WIFE BETWEEN US * THE GLASS CASTLE * EDUCATED * BELOVED * NICKEL BOYS * WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING * BLONDE * THE HUMAN STAIN And, then there are the classics that look very different when you read them outside the classroom. TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD * FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS * AND THEN THERE WERE NONE * I, THE JURY * 1984 * FRANKENSTEIN * I, JUDAS * THE GREAT GATSBY Story telling started as a child reading Classic Comics. In elementary school we put on skits for the holidays. That grew into the 'bug' for Theatre, studied and majored in college. Acting, directing, and playwriting is a great way to learn the craft of writing. Reading the lines of the masters, portraying their characters teaches motivation, desire, conviction, and execution that translates into provocative storytelling.
